Dear Jesse S. Bobo Elementary School Families,
Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year. I hope that you and your families have had a wonderful summer break and are returning recharged and reenergized for the new school year. Speaking of getting back to school related items, your children’s teachers are ready for a new year too. There is excitement in the building with our new school theme based on the book Only One You by Linda Kranz. When reading the book, and we encourage you to do this with your child, you will see a common theme of children making meaningful connections and understanding that they can make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of other people around them. It is a chance to celebrate their own uniqueness. A quote in the book states, “There is only one you in this great big world. Make it a better place!” As the principal of this fantastic school, I believe this about all of our students wholeheartedly. I will live by this quote in the book, too, and make the school a better place for your child each and every day. When your child enters our building, it will be a safe/nurturing environment where every day is focused on student achievement, character development, and their social/emotional well-being. It is an honor and privilege to educate your child. As always, if you are interested in getting involved please contact the school at 864-576-2085 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
